Carter Moore Blackford was born April 1st, 2011 at 2:44 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 2 oz. The new mommy (Stacey) went through an intense 24 hour, medication free labor! She had an amazing support team including her coach (me), a midwife, doula, 2 nurses, and grandma (mommie alice).Mom and baby are both doing well and recovering at the hospital. Unfortunately, Carter is in the Special Care Nursery as he has had some trouble breathing after birth, but the doctors assure us he will be just fine. More details and pictures to come when we are all settled in back home.
